(Bismillah) Peace be upon everyone :) Insya-Allah, from now on, I'll start writing my 'love letter' in this blog in English. My intention is just to improve my English skills and vocabulary. It's just that I'm kinda awkward in using English to communicate in real life. Here is the place where I can practice my 'expertiness'. *smile* Try to bear with it. Sorry. Our prophet - Muhammad, once said "Every activities depend on our intention,".
And Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties]; and mankind was created weak. [2:28]
"dan manusia dijadikan bersifat lemah"(surah an-Nisaa' ayat 28)
I had been keeping a question to myself and I can't seem to solve it. I need some opinion about it. That question can be related to these words : Famous, Femes, Fehmeh (my own vocab), Popular, Fofular, Hot Stuff and others that have the same meaning. Those words are so not far apart from our daily doings and surrounding. I'll just give yer an example which id very very close to us as a Blogger, Facebooker, and Twitterer (Twitter user)? Every time you open yer account, yer can see somebody that is famous or popular or what-so-called hot stuff. Even if that person isn't yer friend or follower, maybe yer friends chit-chatted about that person at school. Am I right?
Well, my question is, Are hot stuffs really necessary??
Lately, I had been thinking - what's the point of doing so? what's are the benefits? is it a satisfaction to have fans? aren't they afraid that their doings might be a sin? do Allah please with their doings? are they doing the right stuff? and some more.
I admit that I am not a purrfect muslimah YET, but I am trying to be one. What am I doing now is not to embarrassing others. I am truly sorry if my statement just now hurt anybody. My intention is giving a reminder and a guide to me and others.
My friends, please be careful of the feeling of wanting to be famous as that feeling can lead to what-we-called-in-Islam, Riak(ريأ) and Takabbur(تکبر). Ermm, I'm afraid that my post will be very long if I explain about Riak and Takabbur. Ask Mr.Google's help. Not understanding about Islam is very sadistic I would say. And I'm not gonna say sorry for that because Islam teaches us to teach other to the real path. I know that I'm not a good teacher, but at least I try :)
